Today is a grieving day for the nation has lost its great leader of all time. The man who has spent his entire life building Singapore to what it is today. Mr Lee Kuan Yew passed away at 3.18am (Singapore Time) at Singapore General Hospital.
He has run a good race, fought a good battle and finally the time has come for him to put everything down. Many may dislike him because of his iron-fist way in doing things. Given the situations/conditions/pressure he was put in, choices were to be made and must be made. Against all odds, he believed in what he did and led this country to a better future.
For this, I admire you. I wish I had your perseverance, courage and determination. RIP, Mr Lee. You will be remembered as a legend.
